Roll With It

These are kayak rolling sessions at the TRU pool. They are optional but I signed up for a 6 week course in order to learn to roll a kayak before my whitewater kayak course in the spring. Every Wednesday at 8:30 we would go to the school and pick up kayaks and then walk up the road to the pool with them. We would paddle and roll from 9-10:30. It was kind of odd since at the same time a scuba diving course was happening so when we would go underwater we could come face to face with diver. At the end of the six weeks I was able to roll on both sides with and without the use of a paddle.
